An Arts and Crafts Christmas

This vintage ornament with its colorful glass body and tail feather adorns the family-room tree. Greenway is fascinated by such ornaments that, despite their seeming fragility, survived for many years, thanks to the care of previous owners. She is starting a new collection of the clip-on birds, which she says are rare, particularly the glass and painted ones. She bought this at a Monroe fair in 2009.
