When Redmond rocked: How our rich pop-music scene took a turn east

Adam Swan plays backup for rappers at "Kevin Collabo," a one-off electronic fusion event in August. Swan and his brother, Tyler, were part of the first generation that grew up going to Fire House concerts every weekend, and eventually playing in them. Swan remembers how the Fire House band-pool program taught young bands to work together across musical styles.
