Smart and fast, marine mammals are guarding our military bases

Research is making it increasingly clear that dolphins are higher-order beings that exhibit familiar intelligence and complex social interactions. Perhaps that, and their squiggly perma-grin, is the reason humans flock to see them at SeaWorld's Rocky Point Preserve in San Diego.
