Perseid meteor showers: Ancient sky show plays again

A Perseid meteor makes its entrance into the earth's atmosphere around 3 a.m. Friday. This view is looking east from atop Table Mountain near Ellensburg, but the summer spectacle should be visible anywhere the lights aren't too bright.
