Rise of the Ratfish in Puget Sound

Nearly 70 percent of all the fish in the Sound basin are ratfish - relatives of the shark with powerful jaws and a row of teeth suited for eating clams and worms in the muddy bottom. This one was netted for research near Port Ludlow.
