Couple who met, and fell in love, on South Park Bridge 66 years ago sad to see it go

Vern and Ardis Landry kiss near the spot where they met on the South Park Bridge in '43. She was walking home; he was in a car filled with guys and they asked if she wanted a ride. She said no; they asked if she had any sisters. She said five, so the boys followed her home.
