An unemployed restaurant critic finds a different kind of culinary satisfaction

With only $200 a month in food stamps to see him through, Murietta is a careful shopper at the food liquidator store, to which he takes the bus. It's a far cry from his working days when he had a $1,300-a-month expense account to dine in some of the area's best restaurants.
