Colorado River desalination plant gets a second chance

At the Yuma Desalting Plant in Yuma, Ariz., sand, dirt and other solids are removed from farm drainage water in giant circular tanks. Additional treatment removes salt before the reclaimed water is pumped into the Colorado River.
