1916 Seattle was a hotbed of sin when 2 officers were killed

Two days after the shootings, the paper repeated earlier reports from witnesses who lived near the warehouse and insisted that Weedin was shot by a white man who ran away through Denny Park. Before his death, however, Wiley stuck to his story that Suehiro had been the sole shooter that night.
