1916 Seattle was a hotbed of sin when 2 officers were killed

The fiery Rev. Mark Matthews packed the pews at First Presbyterian Church with his attacks on sin and corruption in Mayor Gill's administration. He officiated at Sgt. Weedin's funeral.
