With innovation and dedication, Washington growers up the ante
After a tasting, Cave B winemaker Alfredo "Freddy" Arredondo, 36, likes the direction his 2008 syrah is going. Arredondo expects to release the vintage next summer. Arredondo, the son-in-law of owners Vince and Carol Bryan, has already won gold from the prestigious Seattle Wine Awards for his 2008 riesling as well as silver for his barbera and Cuvée du Soleil.
