World Vision's Richard Stearns sets out to put an end to global poverty
In the Federal Way headquarters' call center, the staff sees visual reminders of the organization's mission and the need for money to finance projects. The U.S. office is primarily a fundraising arm that last year raised 42 percent of the $2.6 billion that finances World Vision projects around the world. Since Stearns arrived a decade ago, World Vision U.S. revenues have tripled.
