Saving the planet, one block, one small project at a time
At the Wallingford Senior Center in Seattle, Anja Floisand joins the Local Bounty community potluck with her mother, Allison Hogue. The event is part of a grass-roots effort — loosely organized as SCALLOPS, Sustainable Communities All Over Puget Sound — to promote locally grown food, energy conservation and a host of other earth-friendly neighborhood projects.
