Microsoft names Sinofsky to head Windows
Steven Sinofsky, a 20-year Microsoft veteran, was named president of the Windows division Wednesday, as the company moved from a triumvirate form of leadership in the key business unit. CEO Steve Ballmer praised Sinofsky for his role in getting Windows 7 ready to launch this fall.
