Seattle's 'new urbanism': making smart, sustainable, stylish dwellings
With the goal of designing affordable, attractive housing that promotes sustainable urban living, Unico Properties commissioned the Mithun architectural firm, in collaboration with HyBrid Seattle, to create this Inhabit prototype. The prefabricated modular apartment unit, which is designed for multifamily housing complexes, can be finished and moved to a site up to six months faster than on-site building, according to Mithun.
