Lake Washington villa offers living both gracious and grand
The Louis XV Rococo fireplace mantel in the entrance hall has quite the pedigree. It is from the château of the Marquis De La Valette, 50 miles north of Paris. The marquis accompanied Lafayette to America during the American Revolutionary War. Fire destroyed the original during the French Revolution. This is a 19th-century replica made for the rebuilt château.
