Ex-member of Crips gang in Seattle credits an adult mentor with helping him to break from gang

Javier Luna, a gang member in the 1980s, is now the owner of a construction firm. He walks in the backyard of his Dash Point home, at right, overlooking Puget Sound. Luna, 34, says an adult mentor, jobs and recreation helped him walk away from his gang involvement.
