As U.S. companies cut spending, factories in China go bankrupt

Trade with China through Seattle's seaport accounted for $18 billion last year, more than double the amount of its second-largest trading partner, Japan. In Seattle, cargo volume for November was down 22 percent from last year and down 12.5 percent for the year so far.
