Lake Chelan's emerging winery scene earns our attention

Tsillan Cellars, opened in 2004, has become the largest producer and a major destination in the Lake Chelan wine region. The 135-acre estate features natural slate terrazzos and walks, natural stone bridges, a bell tower and bistro along the south shore of the lake. Tsillan, pronounced Chelan, is the native word for "deep water."
