Logging and landslides: What went wrong?
Steep hillsides that have been clear-cut can be unstable and prone to mudslides for years after being logged. These slides started along logging roads in the Stillman Creek drainage during December's storms and dumped mud and debris into the creek, which flowed into the Boistfort Valley.
