June 3, 1996: Fans' feelings for the Sonics were sky high after the team battled Utah in the Western Conference finals. The Sonics had defeated the Jazz in Game 7 the day before to reach the NBA Finals, and the painting on the Space Needle honoring the team became a part of the memories.
