Racing outriggers take a cultural revival along for the ride
A double-hulled outrigger canoe heads west between the Aurora Bridge in the background and the upcoming Fremont Bridge on a Saturday morning practice out to the Ballard Locks and back led by Sabine Jessel. Jessel came to Seattle from Germany by way of Molokai, Hawaii.
