Hop aboard a ferry and skip over to Winslow on Bainbridge Island

The Bainbridge Island Historical Society's museum, housed in a 1908 schoolhouse, traces the island's history as a shipbuilding and wood-processing center and one of the first communities affected by the Japanese internment during World War II.
