Under threat, sand dollar grows some small change
Another dollar Exposed to cues from fish predators, a sand-dollar larva is caught in the act of cloning. The embryolike "bud" was released and developed into a second, smaller sand-dollar larva. The larva are smaller than the head of a pin.
