Tom Douglas and his wife and business partner, Jackie Cross, seated at their Greek-accented restaurant, Lola, worked together at Cafe Sport before opening the Dahlia Lounge in 1989. They've since launched four more restaurants, the Dahlia Bakery, a catering company, special-events facility and food-product line. Other "products" include the many employees who've been with them from the start, and others who've gone on to launch restaurants of their own.
