When the sun hits the wings just right, the feathers of this heirloom turkey glow and gleam with an iridescence. This bird is from the Wishard line of the Unimproved Standard Bronze, isolated by an Oregon farmer for some 50 years. Some farmers nurture antique lines of the Standard Bronze and other birds that can be traced back to the Pilgrims.
