"Solly" Amon, in business at the Market for more than 50 years at Pure Food Fish Market, sells salmon to a visitor from Canada. Last year, in honor of him becoming the longest-tenured vendor working at the Market, the Seattle City Council declared April 11 as Sol Amon Day.
