Deadly explosions in Baghdad rattle some at Pentagon

Residents and firefighters gather at the scene where a suicide car bomber crashed into an Iraqi police checkpoint at an entrance to Baghdad's Sadr City Shiite district on Wednesday. Iraqi officials said 17 people were killed and 45 were injured in this explosion. The overall death toll from several bombings in Baghdad Wednesday topped 170.
