Early bamboo fan has reason to cheer

Doug Lewis, owner of Seattle's Bamboo Hardwoods, was quick to embrace the renewable quality of bamboo to build a business of flooring and furniture. The company has five showrooms and long-term plans to expand into other metropolitan markets.
