One year later: Living with the memory of the Capitol Hill tragedy

Always remember: Friends Jerron Carlson, 18, left, and Amanda DePrey, 18, each got a tattoo to memorialize the victims of the shooting. Carlson got his cross-shaped tattoo in honor of his friend, Christopher "Deacon" Williamson. DePrey's upper-back tattoo has a ring of raver "candy," or plastic beads, with the date of the tragedy, 3-25-06, strung around the Japanese symbol for "dance."
