All booked up: Nancy Pearl's fame continues to grow

Former Seattle librarian Nancy Pearl, 60, peers into the new "deluxe" action figure modeled after her. The new version, which arrived this week at Archie McPhee in Ballard, comes with book cart, desk and computer. Pearl, who has been busy traveling the country promoting her second book, "More Book Lust," regards the doll as "a tribute to all librarians."
