It's a trompe l'oeil costume for an apparently beheaded Dylan McEwen, getting some dressing-room help from dad Morris Adams, Saturday at Party @ Display & Costume in North Seattle. They bought the costume for its "fool the eye" effect.

Scott Clark provides customers with some devilishly good Halloween hints at Party @ Display & Costume on Saturday. He and all the other employees were -- what else? -- in costume. Clark said it took him about 75 minutes to put on the makeup, horns, ears and nose before work.
